If you speak to someone in the IT field, they say, AI is going to replace everything. While nobody is coming forward to contradict the same (may be they are worried about trolls on the internet) and they will be looked upon as persons without forethought. I have told them that AI is important. But AI is nothing but, have a deep thought, reinvent the product, let the system do as much as it can and let user do the least. But to implement at this level, it takes expertise, it takes resources, it requires identifying multiple scenarios (especially without screwup), and most importantly the product development efforts (yay… add some 20 weeks effort for that AI screen – auto search results :). then I have told them, there are still systems that use COBOL, Main frames and when I Google, below is what I get (I do not use ChatGPT for the accurate data as it is not updated after 2022 though)
